A helping hand

We want to support causes and projects that make a real difference. That is why our charitable work focuses on different elements where we believe we can help the most.

The first is our annual support for causes that care for vulnerable individuals and children who need a little extra help. These include children with cancer, the Danish Cancer Society, the Red Cross and the Blue Cross, whose work includes supporting people experiencing homelessness.

We are also committed to protecting the natural world - the place our products are designed for campers to enjoy. With this in mind, Outwell is a member of the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA), joining other leading outdoor manufacturers in supporting conservation projects across the world.

Through EOCA, we help fund projects that protect threatened habitats, wildlife and ecosystems, and care for the natural world for present and future generations.

Bringing our vision to life

The last element is rooted in our vision: that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the enjoyment of outdoor living at least once in their lifetime.

But we also know that, for some people, getting outdoors is not always easy. Everyday life can be challenging, and not everyone has the time, energy, confidence or financial means to take a break and spend time in nature with their loved ones.

That is why Oase Outdoors annually supports a selected organisation or community association in our key markets that help make outdoor experiences possible for those who need them most.

The support is given in the form of products from our range. When donated to the right causes, a tent, sleeping bag or piece of camping equipment can become much more than a product. It can become the key to a weekend away, a shared family experience, a safe space to rest - or simply a chance to breathe.

Supporting veterans at a family festival

In 2026, we sponsored 24 Outwell family tents for the organisation Veteran Project Vig’s Camp Dannevirke at Vig Festival in Denmark.

Camp Dannevirke is a volunteer-driven veteran project created to improve quality of life for veterans and their families. The camp gives families the opportunity to spend time away together in a safe and supportive setting, surrounded by people who understand some of the challenges they may face.

For some families, a lack of camping equipment was a barrier to taking part. When the volunteers behind Camp Dannevirke reached out to Oase Outdoors, we were happy to help make it possible for more veteran families to join.

It gave me a feeling of happiness right to my core and strengthened my motivation to raise funds so that Camp Dannevirke can continue far into the future. We can truly see that what we are doing is incredibly meaningful and creates something that was not there before”

The volunteers shared that some participating families live with challenges connected to military service, including PTSD, anxiety and the impact these can have on everyday family life. For some, joining social activities or spending time away from home can feel like a big step.

This is where the camp makes a real difference. By removing practical and financial barriers, Camp Dannevirke creates a welcoming space where families can relax, reconnect and share time with others who understand their situation.

Camp Dannevirke was once again a great success, welcoming 100 parents and children for fresh air, music and good times together. We are proud to support initiatives that give children and their families a safe place to recharge, connect and enjoy the outdoors.
