The internal product journey

At Oase Outdoors, our product development is rooted in our core values such as innovation and design, attention to detail, and integrity. These values guide our work and help ensure we create relevant products with a long lifespan - supported by strong design, reliable quality and a clear focus on safe usage.

Developing great outdoor gear is a shared journey, where every team contributes with specialist knowledge from the first idea to the moment the product reaches the end-user.

1. Research & Development (R&D)

R&D kicks off the process by exploring new product ideas and turning them into well-designed solutions. This includes defining functionality, quality, materials, colours, design, safety requirements, packaging needs and data collection for PIM - ensuring the product is ready to move into sourcing and production.

2. Buying

Buying ensures that products are purchased according to the specifications and these agreements are made during development. This includes ensuring the right production set-up is in place and that products are manufactured under responsible working conditions before they are shipped.

3. Marketing

Marketing ensures that packaging includes the required product information and meets relevant legal requirements. The packaging must also protect the product throughout transportation and all the way to the consumer, helping maintain both appearance and performance.

4. Impact & Compliance

Impact & Compliance supports the whole product journey, ensuring that the correct documentation is collected and that the product complies with EU legislation, Danish regulation, our own standards and any other applicable national requirements.

5. Quality control

When products arrive at our warehouse in Give, they are checked to ensure they meet our requirements. We have quality reporting setup making the collaboration with our suppliers leaner and more efficient. If anything does not match our standards or specifications, it is addressed before the product is distributed.

6. Continuous improvement

We continuously evaluate our products through feedback from retailers, sales teams and end users. This helps us improve over time and ensures we remain relevant and deliver high quality across all our brands and product categories.
