Impact

At Oase Outdoors, we are fully aware of the impact we have on the world around us. We are on a shared journey, and work towards reducing our emissions while maintaining the high quality and durability that consumers trust us for.

This journey is complex. Every product we create leaves an impact on our world, which is why it is vital for us to carefully choose where to optimise. We are aware that when we focus on one area or concept, we inevitably deprioritise another. Finding the right path takes careful consideration, data and informed choices. Reducing emissions is one part of the equation, product quality and longevity are another. We want to ensure that our products remain relevant, durable and long-lasting. After all, the very foundation of our company is to inspire to unforgettable moments in nature.

In this section, we invite you to explore how we seek opportunities and possibilities contributing to reducing our impact. Learn about our vision, values, and strategy, and see how our work is anchored in the ESG framework. You can follow the steps we have taken so far in an ever-changing landscape. We are fully aware of its complexity and are finding our own path across the entire supply chain.

A company value

To us, sustainability is not something new, but an ongoing and extensive effort that has been an integrated part of our product development for many years. It is embedded in our company values, and our impact efforts are built on this foundation:

We care and commit to protect our planet and deliver on tomorrow’s sustainable agenda

On our continuous sustainability journey, we are driven by a mindset of innovation, curiosity and attention to detail as we create outstanding outdoor gear. We are a market leader in the European outdoor industry, and we aim to maintain this position while contributing to the protection of the nature that forms the very foundation of our company.

We fully recognise that the steps we implement across our business and value chain may be small on a global scale, but they represent significant progress for our business and our long-term direction. Our vision captures this ambition:

We believe everyone should experience the enjoyment of outdoor living at least once in their lifetime

Being in nature brings a unique sense of well-being and supports mental health. We want to enable as many people as possible to enjoy outdoor and leisure activities. To connect with nature, share meaningful moments with loved ones, or by exploring new trails. Because of this, it is vital for us to do our utmost to protect the natural world, fully aware that our products and value chain have an impact.

We are always seeking new ways to improve, ensuring that we deliver the right quality, durability and longevity in products designed to perform in the great outdoors.

Our impact strategy

What began as a value-driven and ethical commitment to bringing our business into the future in a sustainable way has, over time, become a core part of our organisation. Today, this commitment is embedded in our company values and supported by a clear strategy and a dedicated executive area called Impact & Compliance. Our impact strategy:

We want to create value through actions and deliver on sustainability governance

It is important for us to meet the sustainability agenda of tomorrow, and we aim to do so by delivering on and communicating transparently about our impact commitments. The strategy contains several key elements designed to ensure it is embedded across all departments in Oase Outdoors as a shared mission.

Oase Outdoors has, since 2016, partnered with the Swedish investment company Ratos AB. Through this partnership, we report on 125 KPIs across environmental, social and governance parameters in the 2025 fiscal year - up from 120 KPIs in 2024. Establishing the right and relevant data points within this framework has been an ongoing process, and we have already made significant progress in our reporting structure.

To set long-term targets and monitor our development, we have - via Ratos - partnered with Position Green and the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). These collaborations strengthen the quality of our data, ensure alignment with international standards and support us in tracking our progress over time.

This is a shared mission across Oase Outdoors, and our setup enables us to create mutual value. Alongside our Impact & Compliance team, we have established a taskforce focused on strengthening our Impact communication externally and internally. Externally, we aim to make our efforts more accessible to a wide range of stakeholders. Internally, we work to build knowledge, develop our colleagues and create a shared language for communicating the positive stories behind our work. Transparency remains essential; in what we do, how we do it and why.
