Some of the larger departments also have Managers who report to the area’s Group Director. Together with CEO Henrik Arens, the Group Directors are responsible for the day-to-day management of Oase. Our leadership values set the direction for good leadership and support the development of both employees and the company. Both Group Directors and Managers work from these values.

Our business is commercial, which makes it essential for management to create a structure that balances focus and targets while still making room for innovation and creativity. A key part of our culture is that we always listen to input and ideas. At Oase, there is a short path from thought to action, which means strong ideas often quickly gain momentum.

Oase Outdoors is a size where employees have a leader who is involved in daily tasks and therefore also acts as a close professional sparring partner. At the same time, the nearest leader holds primary responsibility for strategy, collaboration within the department, and across the company. Leaders are also responsible for wellbeing and development within their teams. At Oase Outdoors, leaders are approachable and help create a supportive working environment where employees can be themselves.

The Board of Directors

Oase Outdoors is a partnership between the Scandinavian investment specialist Ratos AB, which owns 80% of the company, and CEO Henrik Arens, who owns approximately 20% together with a number of key members of the management team. Ratos has appointed the board, which consists of three members.

The board holds overall responsibility for Oase Outdoors, including ensuring that Oase is managed effectively and in accordance with the established governance guidelines.
