The recruitment process

We believe that a thorough recruitment process and a successful onboarding create the best possible foundation for you to settle confidently into a new role at Oase Outdoors.

Recruitment

When you apply for a position at Oase Outdoors, the process is straightforward. You simply submit your details through our online application system. If we do not currently have a vacancy that matches your profile, you are always welcome to send us an unsolicited application.

We aim to invite a broad and diverse group of candidates. To support this, new positions are typically open for applications over an extended period, and we invite candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis.

First interview

If you are invited to a first interview, you can expect a conversation lasting around one hour, focused on getting to know each other. We will introduce you to Oase Outdoors as a company and as a workplace, and we are equally keen to learn more about you. After the interview, we will assess whether there is a match in terms of both skills and chemistry, and whether we should continue the dialogue.

Second interview

If you are invited to a second interview, the conversation will be more in-depth. Ahead of the interview, you will be asked to complete one or more assessments. These help us have a deeper conversation with you about problem-solving, how you have created results in previous roles, and how your profile matches the position.

We aim for the interviews to be an open and honest dialogue, where you have plenty of opportunity to ask questions and gain clarity. It is important to us that you feel comfortable throughout the process. You will, of course, hear from us regardless of the outcome.

Onboarding

Once you join Oase Outdoors, we will plan a structured onboarding programme for you, which you will receive ahead of your first day of work. Becoming part of the team and gaining a broad understanding of the company is important to us. During your first weeks, you will meet many of your new colleagues through one-to-one introductory meetings.

These sessions introduce you to the different departments, their areas of responsibility, key people and the annual cycle of activities. This helps ensure that you know who to turn to and gain a solid understanding of the dynamics and collaborations you are becoming part of.

We are always happy to answer your questions, and we encourage you to ask at every stage of the process - whether your curiosity relates to your role, your department or another area of the organisation.
