Meet an E-Commerce CRM Specialist

At Oase Outdoors, our E-Commerce department is growing fast.

Over the past year alone, the team has relaunched all three of our brand websites while also moving them to a new CMS system. One of our talented colleagues is Christine, who landed her very first job after graduating. We sat down with her to talk about her day-to-day life at Oase Outdoors.

What do you do at Oase Outdoors?

I work as a CRM Specialist in the E-Commerce department. My main focus is on e-mail marketing. I build automations and newsletter flows, I also send out weekly newsletters to our B2C customers. We’re a fairly small team, so we’re always helping each other out across different tasks. That’s what makes the job exciting – each day brings something new.

What makes your field of work exciting?

E-mail marketing and e-commerce are exciting because they combine creativity with data. I get to develop strategies, create content, and at the same time see how my efforts perform in real life. The field is constantly evolving, which means I’m always learning new technologies and improving processes along the way. That makes my job both fun and challenging.

Which results are you most proud of?

I’m especially proud of having grown our customer base through the many leads I’ve collected. And I’m also really proud that we recently moved all our brand websites to a new CMS. Even though I was newly graduated and had been here for less than six months, I was given responsibility for moving valuable content from the old sites to the new platform. It was a big task, but it really showed me that my skills are valued. I’m also proud of my persistence when things take longer than expected. Luckily, I have amazing colleagues who are always ready to help when things get tricky – that makes even the big tasks easier to handle.

Can you share a moment that really stands out to you?

Even though it wasn’t work-related, we recently competed in teams to see who could cycle the furthest on the office bikes. Events like that really strengthen the sense of community in the office. People were cheering on their teammates – also while updating e-mails. It turned into one of the most entertaining moments and sparked lots of laughs and great conversations.

What’s your best advice for someone considering a job at Oase?

At Oase Outdoors, no one stands alone. It’s all about being part of a team where you support each other and achieve success together. My advice to anyone thinking about applying is to go for it with an open mind and lots of energy. If you enjoy strong team spirit, are curious, and ready for new challenges, you’ll feel right at home here. It’s been an amazing start to my career as a recent graduate - and I’m sure it could be for you too.
