OASE OUTDOORS AT OUTDOOR IN FRIEDRICHSHAFEN

In mid-July, we had the official Business-to-Business launch of our 2014 collection as we for the 13th time participated at the world’s largest outdoor show - OutDoor in Friedrichshafen.

Compared to previous years we were this year to be found in Hall A5 where we were part of the ‘Scandinavian City’.

Again this year we had three stands; our main stand with all our accessory products and meeting facilities; and in the Tent City where we had a Robens stand with all the Robens tents on display and an Easy Camp stand with a wide selection of the Easy Camp tents.

The main stand was slightly bigger than last year, and as this year was year one for Oase Outdoors in the Scandinavian City this was also the first time that the rest of the companies here could feel, see and hear the presence of Oase Outdoors. The most noticeable reason behind this was the Oase Outdoors company morning ritual carried out by our entire crew in which they through a ‘rallying cry’ internally and externally sought to express some of the passion that everyone at Oase Outdoors shares for camping and outdoor life as well as for our products :-)

The days went quickly by as virtually everyone’s calendar was fully booked all four days with meetings with existing and new potential customers from around the world and with representatives from the media and press.

The overall feedback was very positive and our 2014 range was well received from both existing and potential customers and the press. If we should highlight some products that created extraordinary attention it would be our new SmartAir® tents and our collapsible products – both from Outwell – and both very visible presented at our main stand.

Our International Sales Director Henrik Bernth says: "Friedrichshafen again this year was a success, and sales for 2014 came to a good start. The stand at Friedrichshafen was as always well coordinated and stylish and presented our products in the right way to our customers, potential customers as well as the media and press. "
