Are you passionate about outdoor living and can you take the sales in East side of the UK to the next level and do you make it happen? Then you could possibly be the Area Sales Manager, which we are looking for.
Oase Outdoors (Outwell®, Easy Camp® and Robens®) is in a positive development, so we are looking for a highly skilled person, who can contribute to the positive sales development in the UK market. You will be responsible for the eastern part of UK - both existing customers and finding new business.
We are looking for:
A person who is already familiar with the outdoor (preferably hardware) and camping industry and know the key players in the market. You are able to both develop existing customers and open up new accounts. Maybe you also have experiences in doing business with larger retail chains.
You have minimum 3 years of experience with selling outdoor/camping products or as a buyer of outdoor/camping products in the retail business. You will be a part of a sales team that consists of 4 persons in the UK.
As a person you are ambitious and very keen on creating results – but understand the importance of both creating top and bottom line. You are self motivating and have the necessary structure and discipline to work alone. You always have attention to detail, and as a business partner you are seen as a trustworthy and accountable person, who always sticks to your agreements.
It is important that you are flexible also during the weekends, mainly in the spring time, due to fairs and activities in our customers’ stores. Furthermore you will be at the showroom in Give together with customers, mostly in the summer and early autumn, to take care of the preorders.
You have a positive approach towards new tasks and you fundamental believe that you will succeed in reaching your ambitious goals.
Furthermore, you are able to conduct product training sessions for our customers in a motivating and educational way.
